You don't have to open the EasyLink app to use EasyLink — it's built into the places you already work.

On product pages

Every product page in Shopify admin gets an EasyLink status card showing whether the product's variants have live Digital Link codes, with buttons to view the code or take action — no app-switching needed to check "is this product scannable yet?"

The card shows an overall badge — All published, Partially published or Not published — plus a per-variant view with each variant's GTIN and publication status. From the card you can create or view a code, print a label for the selected variant, choose product labels, or jump straight to Manage links.

Publishing codes from the product page

Choosing Create code (or View code) opens the EasyLink product code window without leaving the product page. Pick a variant, check its Published or Draft status, and preview the QR code and GS1 Data Matrix side by side. From there you can:

  • Publish link (or Re-publish link) to make the code live on 506.link

  • Download the published code as PNG or SVG

  • Test customer link to open the live destination exactly as a shopper would

If a variant's barcode isn't a valid GTIN, the window tells you what to fix — and if you've reached your plan's published-code limit, it shows your usage with a View plans link.

Shopify POS

Selling in person? The EasyLink publication card appears on product details in Shopify POS, so staff can check a product's code status right at the counter:

  • An overall badge — All published, Partially published or Not published

  • How many variants are published, how many have valid GTINs, and how many DPP links are active

For the full picture, tap EasyLink product status in the product's menu: every variant is listed with its own badge — Code published, Not published, GTIN missing or GTIN malformed — plus whether its DPP link is active.

The POS view is read-only — built for checking, not editing — and it needs an internet connection: when the device is offline, the card asks you to reconnect before it verifies the latest status.

Quick actions from products and collections

From the product list, a product page, a variant page, or a collection, use the More actions menu to jump straight into EasyLink's label printing for exactly the items you selected. Select ten products, choose the EasyLink action, and you're on the Labels page with those products loaded.

Shopify Flow

EasyLink ships a Flow action: Run GTIN audit. Use it to keep your audit fresh automatically — for example:

  • When a product is created → Run GTIN audit

  • Every Monday at 9am → Run GTIN audit

Combine it with Flow's conditions to build your own barcode-hygiene automation.

Sidekick

Shopify's Sidekick assistant can answer EasyLink questions directly. Try asking:

  • "How many EasyLink codes am I using?"

  • "Find the EasyLink link for the snowboard"

  • "How are my QR scans trending?"

Sidekick reads your EasyLink usage, searches your published links, and summarises your scan analytics — all scoped to your store only.
