What counts as a "published code"?
Each distinct GTIN you publish to the resolver counts once. Things that don't consume allowance:
Re-publishing or updating an existing code
Generating or downloading code images without publishing
Printing labels — print as many as you like
Running audits
You'll never be locked out of maintaining codes you've already published — limits apply only to publishing new ones.
Managing your plan
Open EasyLink → Plan to compare tiers and see your usage, then Change plan to go to Shopify's secure billing page. Shopify handles the entire subscription — upgrades and downgrades are prorated automatically, charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice, and EasyLink never sees your payment details.
Downgrading
If you downgrade below your published-code count, everything already published stays live — you just can't publish new codes until you're back under the limit.
