EasyLink turns the barcodes already on your Shopify products into GS1 Digital Link QR codes — one code per product that works everywhere:
At retail checkout. The code carries your product's GTIN in the GS1 Digital Link format, so 2D-capable point-of-sale scanners read it just like a traditional barcode.
On shoppers' phones. Anyone who scans the code with a phone camera lands on your product page (or a hosted product passport) — no app required.
On your labels. Print the codes on Avery sheets, thermal rolls, or fully custom label layouts, with live product titles, SKUs, prices, your logo, and quantities driven by your inventory.
Behind every code is the 506.link resolver, which routes each scan to the destination you choose and records anonymous scan counts for your analytics.
What EasyLink is not
EasyLink does not sell or invent GTINs (barcode numbers). GTINs are licensed from GS1, the global standards body. EasyLink checks the barcodes you already have, tells you which ones are valid, and makes them scannable everywhere.
The typical workflow
Audit — EasyLink scans your whole catalog and classifies every variant barcode.
Publish — valid barcodes become live Digital Link codes on 506.link.
Print — download codes (PNG/SVG) or print label sheets in bulk.
Measure — watch scans arrive in Analytics, by product and by day.
